It’s been three weeks since I last wrote. I apologize, but I have a very good reason for this. The two-week training has been extremely hectic (shifting schedules and information overload) that when I get home I’m too dead beat to exercise even just one brain cell in order to write. I miss writing so much. Moving on to the real deal. First week of training was good. The first three days was mainly for EST or grammar, comprehension, english accent, and even American culture. The days that followed were both fun and hellish at the same time. We began the product training and I must say, it hasn’t been very easy. Everyday, for 8 hours, we have to undergo boring lectures about banking and our product offerings then have lots of exams after a couple of hours. Everyday there is something new to learn about the product. I don’t know if I’m going to excel once I’m in transition. Most of us are having a difficult time understanding how the system works. Furthermore, because we can’t research online about our product and the manual is only available (for us to learn) when we’re in the office makes things worse. We fear the beginning of transition. We know we will embarass ourselves and our trainer most of all. Anyway, training is still ongoing. I’m bored to death most of the time. I have become a coffeeholic and we haven’t even begun working yet.

Soaring to Greater Heights
If I’m planning to stay in this industry I’m wondering “where will the call center industry be in the long-run?”
